Low-fat oven baked potato wedges recipe
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, that’s how I love them! Fries are delicious, I always loved eating them. But every time when I ordered them at a fast food restaurant I got sick right after eating them. I really felt bad for at least half an hour. Too much-refined oil just doesn’t agree with me. If you love fries but don’t want them to be covered in oil, try out my low-fat oven baked potato wedges recipe.
This is how the wedges looked after 15 minutes in the oven:
These potato wedges are actually healthy since they are not deep fried. They are easy to make and they taste amazing. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. When I posted them once my Instagram account @elavegan people loved them and asked for my recipe. Potato wedges are not only yummy they are also a great party snack.
My recipe is:
- Low in fat
- A perfect snack
- Gluten free
- Paleo friendly
Oven baked potato wedges recipe
To make this recipe, you just need potatoes, your favorite seasoning, balsamic vinegar, a baking sheet, an oven and a little bit of oil. Don’t be afraid, I am just talking about 2 tbsp of oil, not 2 gallons.
Serve your wedges with guacamole
You can use any dipping sauce of choice, for example, ketchup or vegan mayonnaise. I made an avocado dipping sauce but when I am lazy I often just dip them in ketchup. I have included the recipe for the guacamole below. Let me know if you try out my low-fat oven baked potato wedges recipe and please report back and tell me if you liked it.
Finally, I want to wish you a very happy New Year 2017! May all your dreams come true, stay healthy, happy and enjoy good food.
