Fruit Mixture:

Streusel/Crumble:

Instructions

  • I recommend using a kitchen scale for this recipe. You can watch the video in the post for visual instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
  • Slice apples and plums and put them in a large bowl.
  • Add the granulated sweetener, cinnamon, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  • To make the streusel, simply put all dry ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Add coconut oil + vanilla extract and mix everything with your clean hands until the mixture is crumbly.
  • Transfer the fruit mixture to a baking pan (mine measures 6×9 inches resp. 15×23 cm but a 8×8 pan is fine too) and add the crumble/streusel on top.
  • Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes or until the crumble is slightly golden brown. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • You can use any other ground nuts instead of almond flour.
  • I did not peel the apples but you can peel them if you prefer.
  • To make your own oat flour, simply process oats in a blender or electric coffee/spice grinder.
  • For an oil-free recipe, simply use 3-4 tbsp of melted nut or seed butter (e.g. cashew butter, coconut butter, almond butter, sunflower seed butter).
