Cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain the pasta water into a bowl and save some of it.
Add all ingredients for the pesto to a food processor and blend for about 20-30 seconds.
Slowly pour in a little pasta water (start with 1/8 cup) and blend again. Add more pasta water if you prefer a thinner sauce. Taste it, and add more salt, if needed.
Pour the pesto sauce over the cooked pasta, serve and enjoy!
