Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich zuvor noch nie &#8222;echte&#8220; Sloppy Joes gegessen habe. Mit &#8222;echte&#8220; meine ich die amerikanischen Hackfleisch-Burger. In Deutschland, wo ich aufgewachsen bin, sind Sloppy Joes nicht wirklich bekannt, aber in USA sind sie sehr beliebt. Als ich 6 Jahre alt war, habe ich aufgeh\u00f6rt Fleisch zu essen, und selbst wenn ich dieses Gericht in der Vergangenheit gegessen haben sollte, kann ich mich inzwischen nicht mehr daran erinnern. Du kannst aber auch <strong>andere Bohnen, Kichererbsen oder sogar Linsen<\/strong> verwenden. Ich mag es sehr, Linsen in meinen Rezepten zu benutzen. F\u00fcr das Sloppy Joes Rezept wollte ich jedoch Cannellini-Bohnen verwenden, weil ich den Geschmack und die Textur klasse finde. Bohnen und Linsen sind auch <strong>reich an Eiwei\u00df<\/strong> und enthalten im Gegensatz zu Fleisch auch noch Ballaststoffe. Sogar mein Freund sagte, dass die Burger ziemlich scharf sind und er liebt normalerweise scharfes Essen! Wenn du keine scharfen Speisen magst, solltest du nur 1\/8 bis max. 1\/4 TL verwenden oder den Cayennepfeffer ganz weglassen.
